RETURN POLICY

At Grace & Steele Boutique we strive to make our loyal customers happy as we are so grateful for you! We understand that ordering things online can be tough since you can’t feel the items or try the clothes on.  We thank you for shopping our boutique experience.  If you are not completely satisfied with your order we promise to try to do everything we can to fix the problem!

As soon as you receive your order please look it over immediately.   If you feel that an item you ordered is defective please contact us within 3 business days of the receipt of your order.   If you were sent the wrong items or are missing items from your order, please contact us so we can get the right or missing items out to you ASAP!  Our inventory turns over quickly so the sooner we hear from you regarding mistakes or defective items the better.

Below is the gist of our rules and procedures for returns to Grace & Steele Boutique:

  • Items can be returned for STORE CREDIT ONLY. The store credit will be issued in the form of a gift card sent via email.   (The email you used on the existing order will be the email used to issue the gift card.)  
  • STORE CREDIT GIFT CARDS have an expiration date of one year from the date of issue.
  • All returns must be received within 30 days of the date that we shipped out your order. Remember to allow 5-10 days for package transit.  By doing so, it will ensure that we receive your return within the 30 day window.
  • All Final Sale items ending in $.99 are considered FINAL SALE and are non-refundable.
  • All jewelry is considered FINAL SALE and is non-refundable due to hygiene issues.
  • All hats, caps, gloves and scarves are considered FINAL SALE and are non-refundable due to hygiene issues.
  • Returned items must have the original tags attached, be unworn, and unwashed to be eligible for return.
  • Please contact us by emailing sales@graceandsteele.com (or by using the Contact Us tab under Extra Info). Request a return authorization form and one will be sent to you via email. Print out the form and complete it.  Include the completed form in the package with the items you are returning.
  • Shipping is non-refundable, unless you are returning defective or incorrect items that were sent to you in your original order.
  • Please allow our team 5-7 business days to process your return once we have received it back in our returns dept.
  • All returned items listed as defective will be examined and evaluated for eligibility as a return. 

GIFT CARDS & STORE CREDIT

  • All STORE CREDITS issued in the form of a GIFT CARD via email will expire one year after the date issued.
  • If your order is more than the amount of the GIFT CARD/STORE CREDIT, an additional form of payment will be required at checkout.
  • Your use of the GIFT CARD/STORE CREDIT constitutes your agreement to our Terms of Service.  (Found under Extra Info.)

EXCHANGES

At Grace & Steele Boutique we have a limited number of each style we feature on our website.  We order limited numbers of each item to maintain the true “boutique” feel of our store.  We are not a department store nor do we have a warehouse full of multiples of each item.  Due to this we are unable to complete exchanges.  Chances are the item will be unavailable once we receive your request for an exchange.  We suggest that you return your item following the above process ASAP so we can immediately issue you a STORE CREDIT via email.   Hopefully the style and size you want will still be available and you can use your gift card for the purchase.  If it isn’t, we sincerely apologize but feel confident you will be able to find another amazing item you will love just as much!

CHANGING OR CANCELING YOUR ORDER

At Grace & Steele Boutique we understand that sometimes stuff happens and you may need to change or cancel your order.  Please contact us ASAP once you realize you need to cancel or make a change.  If you order has not been processed or sent out for shipping we will happily amend your order or cancel it by refunding your money.  Please note that we strive to get our orders out quickly so we cannot guarantee that we can cancel or amend your order.  If your order has been processed or sent out for shipping, we sadly cannot amend or cancel the order.

ADDING ITEMS TO YOUR ORDER

After you have placed an order and realize that you forgot to order an item please contact us ASAP!  We will certainly try to add the item to the order for you.  If the item is in stock and the order has not been processed or shipped out we can add the item to your existing order.  However, if the order has been processed or shipped out, you will have to place a new order via our website.  If you are ordering within 24 hours of your previous order we will be happy to waive the shipping fee on your new order.  Just contact us with your request and we will issue you a code for free shipping!
